The Board of Directors would like to remind all residents in the association that the area in Florida where we make our home is also home to various wildlife, including venomous and non-venomous snakes, alligators, coyotes, insects, etc. Many of these creatures are not naturally aggressive, but they seek shelter in and around our homes and can be dangerous if surprised or approached.
Some wildlife will shelter in bushes, under planters and flower pots, under outside grills, under cars, in the tracks of sliding doors — anywhere they sense they are camouflaged and secure. They will also be more likely to seek shelter or travel near our homes during rainy weather.
Please be alert to this possibility and use reasonable caution when outdoors.
